LILLIAN THOMAS Obituary

Lillian Anna Pickett Thomas age 96 of Whitwell passed away at her home surrounded by family, Friday, September 17, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bee Thomas; daughter, Barbara Jean Boston; sisters, Almetta Powell, Lemma Pickett, Arlene Pickett, Delvina Turner, Stella Terry; brothers, Riley Pickett, Sam Pickett, Henry Jewell Pickett, & Ben Pickett. Lillian was the last of 10 children, now resting in God’s care. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memories are five children, Faye Powell, Linda (Gordon) Miller, Robert (Robin) Thomas, James Mike Thomas all of Whitwell, Paul (Sheila) Thomas of Signal Mtn; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.

Family will receive friends 12-2PM, CST, Tuesday, September 21, 2021 with the service to follow at 2PM, CST in the funeral home chapel. Paul Thomas and Rev. Ray Wilson will officiate. Interment at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.
