LINDA MCDOUGAL Obituary

Linda Fay Parker McDougal age 69 of the Suck Creek Mountain Community passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019. She was the owner of Suck Creek Grocery for more than 20 years. Linda was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Evelyn Parker; sister, Libby Webb; grandsons, Cade and Caleb Hobbs.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 52 years, Billy Joe McDougal; three children, Rhonda (Rick) McDougal Smith, Michael “Gooch” (Candi) McDougal both of Suck Creek Mountain, Melissa “Mo” (David) Hobbs of Whitwell; seven grandchildren, Justin (Ariel), Savannah (Corey), Gracie, Ella, Heather, Kayla, and Ethan; three great grandchildren, Braylee, Gracelyn and Parker; sisters, Peggy Singleton of Daytona Beach, FL, Helen Case and Betty Massengale of Suck Creek Mountain; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends 1-8PM, Central time, Wednesday, April 10, 2019.

10AM-1PM, Central time, Thursday, April 11, 2019.

Funeral services 1PM, Central time, Thursday, April 11, 2019 in the funeral home chapel with Michael McDougal and Rev. Michael Shrum officiating. Interment at Lusk Cemetery.
