LORETTA RUBY (CUMBY) CONWAY

Loretta Ruby Cumby Conway age 81 of Whitwell passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Cumby & Lucille Branstetter Cumby; siblings, Francis Smith, Evelyn Cumby, James Cumby, Andrew Cumby, Charles (Buddy) Cumby,  and Gearldine Church.  Loretta was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 29 years, Bernard “Bud” Conway; children, Revonda Hobbs of Ooltewah, Latrika (Kenny) Terry of Whitwell, Scotty (Sara) Cumby of Whitwell, step-son Keith Conway of Pekin, Il; grandchildren, Caleb Hobbs, Joshua Hobbs, Jacob Terry, Weston Terry, Charlie Terry, Seth Cumby, Shadrick Cumby, Dakota (Bri) Conway, Kolin Conway, Keira Conway, Keygon Conway; great grandchildren, John Aaron Hobbs, Willow Dawn Hobbs, Nash Terry, Wrynley Terry, Wyatt Cool, Beau Terry (unborn child); loving pet, Gabby.

Family will receive friends 4-8PM CST, Friday, May 15, 2026 at the funeral home and one hour before the service at 1PM CST, Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Crossroads Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 2PM CST, Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Crossroads Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Riddle officiating.  Interment at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of fresh flowers family requests potted outdoor plants that can be used as a remembrance of Loretta.
