Mildred Joyce (Walden) Green

Mildred Joyce Green age 91 of Whitwell, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025. She was a member of Whitwell Church of God. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Green; father, Willie “Bill” Walden; mother, Estell A. Walden; sons, Buddy Green and Donnie Green; granddaughter, Angie McGowan; special friend, Albert Atterton; siblings, Betty Terry, Joe Walden, Freddy Duke, Ralph Walden and Cecil Ray Walden.

Those left to cherish her memories are her siblings, Billy (Glenda) Walden and Nancy “Cookie” (Charles) Case; grandchildren, Allen (Missi) Green, Holly (Chris) Taylor and Ashley (Jonathan) Pellam; great grandchildren, Haley (Blake) Barnes, Amber (Corey) Adams, Courtney Green, Brian Green, Ethan (Joeleigh) Taylor, Christa Taylor, Hunter Taylor, Chloe Barker, Skylar Barker, Carley Pellam and River Pellam; great great grandchildren, Kinslee Adams and Peyton Barnes.

Family will receive friends 11AM - 8PM, CST, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, and 11AM, CST, Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Funeral Service 1PM, CST, Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jim Mulkey officiating. Interment to follow at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
