RAYMA SUE (GARNER) THOMAS PICKETT

Rayma Sue Garner Thomas Pickett age 77 of Whitwell, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Wayne Thomas; parents, Lon Taylor & Rena Maxwell Garner; nephew, Timothy Garner, Lonnie Garner; son, Eugene Pickett.  Sue retired from NHC Dunlap and was a member of South Whitwell Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 19 years,  Ernest Edward Pickett; children, Jeff (Sherri) Thomas, Jennifer (Marty) Raulston, Bobby (Jackie) Pickett; Lisa Patterson (Jennifer’s sister & a special niece); Roy Lynn Terry (special friend); siblings, Jeanette Hill, Henrietta Williams, Clinton Garner, Dean Mosier, Glenda Cagle, Anita Condra, Danny Garner; grandchildren, Ryan (Alaina) Thomas, Shea (Kevin) Layne, Zach (Lacey) Thomas, Tory (Hailey) Raulston, Tarran Raulston, Monica (Brandon) Kilgore, Samantha Pickett, Jacob Pickett; great grandchildren, Eleanor Layne, Tatum Grace Layne, Ozzy Thomas, Boone Raulston, Shepherd Raulston, Haddon Raulston, Bryor Hutcheson, & Brooks Kilgore.

The family would like to thank Sue’s sisters and Stephanie of Hearth Hospice for their compassion and care during her illness.

Family will receive friends, 4-8PM, Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

                                             12-2PM, Thursday, December 1, 2022.

Funeral services will be 2PM, Thursday, December 1, 2022 in the funeral home chapel with Reverends Roy Lynn Terry, Larry Meade and Tory Raulston officiating. 

Interment at Red Hill Cemetery.
