RAYMOND WORLEY Obituary

Raymond W. “Bill” Worley age 87passed away at his home in Powell’s Crossroads, surrounded by family, Tuesday, November 2, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond & Maye Worley; sisters, Montie Gholston, Wilma Frye, Connie McCurry; brothers, Stan Worley, Cliff Worley. Mr. Worley was a member of Layne’s Chapel Church in Whitwell.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 65 years, Lenora Green Worley; two daughters, Cynthia Gail Worley of Clarksville, Beverly Renee Grooms of Whitwell; brother, Hansel (Dorthy) Worley of Gruetli Laager; grandchildren, Gillian Johnson, Lily Mengel; great grandchildren, Collin Johnson, Ava Jane Mengel, Ellie Mengel; several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 11-2PM, Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Layne’s Chapel Church with the funeral service to follow at 2PM with Rev. Bill Ross and Rev. Ronnie Vandergriff officiating. Interment at Layne’s Chapel Cemetery.
