RONNIE GENE KERR

Ronnie Gene Kerr, 69, of Sequatchie TN. finished his race and entered the gates of Heaven on August 28th 2021. He was born to John Kerr and Edna Green Shrum on March 3rd, 1952.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents John Kerr and Edna and Bill Shrum and Several Aunts and Uncles.
Ronnie survived by his wife Joyce Crawford Kerr, 4 children Tater (Hannah) Kerr, Tiffany (Brandon Davis) Kerr, Heather (Chris) Verardo, and Brian Kaszuk.  2 sisters, Kathy (Butch) Smith and Sharon (Ricky) Layne. 1 Brother, Denver (Dana) Shrum. 8 grandchildren Colin, Rachel, Brylie, Jalynn, Bryson, Kylan, Indigo, and expecting Emmett in January. Several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, and Uncles. Many close Friends and extended Family. 
Ronnie worked for Tennessee Consolidated Coal Company and various Trucking Companies; He was also the Owner and Operator of Sequatchie Service for over 30 years and was passionate about Racing and his Family. 
Pallbearers- Tater Kerr, Denver Shrum, Kyle Shrum, Brandon Davis, Colin Keener, and Chris Hall. 
Honorary Pallbearers- Jimbo Salsbury, Gary Brannum, Steve Tate, Blake Holt, Eugene Slatton, Steve Skiles, Billy Dobbins, Marty Roberts, Butch Smith, Roy (Pudgy) Frost, and Ronnie Kilgore. 
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 2PM to 8PM and on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 10AM to 130PM. 
Graveside service will be held at Condra Cemetery in Whitwell TN. Following Visitation on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 2PM with Bro. Wayne Bowman Officiating.
