RUTH HOLLAND Obituary

Ruth Ellen Holland age 76 of Whitwell, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021. Ruth was born in Tracy City, Tennessee on September 5, 1945 to the late Charles (Dan) & Ovia Nunley Sitz. She is also preceded I n death by her husband Jack Holland; her daughter, Monterrie Cates; sister, Louise O’Dear; brothers, Charles, Edward, & Jerry Sitz.

Ruth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved & enjoyed watching Tennessee Football games, Braves baseball and Nascar and of course shopping.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Chris (Curtis) Ratcliffe; grandson, Justin Palmer; great grandchildren, Emery Palmer, Levi Palmer; brother, Robert Sitz; sisters, Marie Burrows, Darlene Sitz, Ruth Sitz Pitnam.

Graveside services will be 3PM, Sunday, September 26, 2021 with Rev. Brent Upchurch officiating. Interment at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
