RUTH PICKETT Obituary

Ruth Angeline Rector Pittman Pickett age 88 of Whitwell passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022. She was preceded in death by parents, Marvin & Lilly Mae Rector; son, Arnold Lee Pittman; grandchildren, Brandon Billingsley & Nicolas Jones: sisters, Cricket Dover, Ethel Perry; Barbara Saylors; brothers, Hershel Rector, Thomas Rector, Jr. Rector; husbands, Jr. Pittman, Melvin Lewis & Hoyt Pickett.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Susie (Roy) Hamrick, Rick (Sheila) Pittman, Donnie (Betty) Pittman, Michael Pittman, Teresa Pittman Kilgore, Donna Jo Jones all of Whitwell; sister, Virginia Hamrick; 12 grandchildren, Paula Crawford, Cathy Merritt, April Gossett, Lamar Billingsley, Alisha Smith, Justin Billingsley, Travis Jones, Leslie Jones, Ciara Cassity, Cody Pittman, Mikey Pittman, Jacqueline Nunley; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 10-2PM, Wednesday, January 5, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 2PM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Caroline’s Chapel Cemetery.
