Rema Yvonne (Dent) Meeks

Rema Y. Meeks passed away, Monday, April 4, 2022.  Ms. Meeks was a member of Griffith Creek Community Church.  She is preceded in death by parents, Marvin and Bessie Fletcher Dent; husband, Freddie Ray Meeks; sister, Lulene Ament, Marie Thomas, Opal Tate, Betty Savage; brothers, Alfred, J.D., Lewis and Jimmy Dent.

Those left to cherish her memories are her sons, Butch (Bonnie) Meeks of Whitwell and Mark (Ann) Meeks of Altamont; grandsons, Zack Meeks, Todd (Janice) Ridge, Michael (Charlotte) Turner; granddaughter, Meshone (Andy) Oliveira and Michelle (Alex) Rollins.; several loving great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Family will receive friends 12-2PM, Thursday, April 7, 2022.

Graveside services will be 2:30PM, Thursday, April 7, 2022, in the Griffith Creek Cemetery with the Reverends Steve Moore and Ronnie Cookston officiating.
