Ruby Massengale

Ruby Dempsey Massengale, age 79, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, in Jasper, Alabama.

Born on June 17, 1946, Ruby lived a life marked by strength, kindness, and devotion to her family. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her.

Ruby was preceded in death by her father, Sam Massengale; her mother, Laura E. Weiland; and her brothers, Ronnie Massengale and Bobby Massengale.

She is survived by her loving sons, Yancy Roberts and Chris Brown; her sister, Norma Dempsey; and several cherished grandchildren who brought her great joy throughout her life.

Ruby will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, and unwavering love for her family. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Her family will receive friends 11AM-2PM, CST, Sunday, October 5, 2025.

Interment to follow at Pickett Cemetery in Whitwell.
