SADIE HIGGINS GRIFFITH

Sadie Higgins Griffith, age 68, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2026. She was born on July 22, 1957, and spent her life caring for others both in her career and in her family.
Sadie worked for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a profession that reflected her compassionate heart and willingness to help those in need. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Griffith; her parents, Henry Alexander Higgins and Libby Katie Caldwell Higgins; and her siblings, George Higgins, Elizabeth Meeks, Jack Higgins, Jim Higgins, Lonnie Higgins, Cecil Higgins, Alice Tudors, Faye Hargis, and Daniel Higgins.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Dennis Joshua (Kandall) Griffith of South Pittsburg; her daughter, Jennifer Griffith of Bridgeport, Alabama; her brother, Larry Wayne (Sheila) Higgins; her sister, Elvia Dean (John) Harrison; and her beloved grandchildren, Katelyn Ashley Griffith and Noah Zachary Griffith. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Sadie will be remembered for the love she had for her family, the care she gave to others throughout her life, and the many memories she created with those she loved. Her legacy of compassion and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Family will receive friends 12 to 6pm, Thursday, July 2, 2026 with the funeral service to follow at 6pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Danny Chance officiating.  Family will have a private burial at a later date.
