SAMUEL LEE PICKETT, SR

Samuel Lee Pickett, Sr. born January 5, 1953,  of Whitwell passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James R.B. & Mae Alma Harris Pickett; brother, James Issac Sutton, George W. Pickett. Mr. Pickett retired from Charter Cable, and J.I. Brown where he worked for over 30 years.

Those left to cherish his memories are his significant other, Ramona Pickett; children, Michelle Pickett of  Chattanooga, Sam (Alyssa) Pickett, Jr. of Bridgeport, AL, Ashley Pickett of Jasper, Kane Hale of Jasper; siblings, Emma Gott and Anna Roberts both of Chattanooga; special cousin, William Oscar Pickett of Jasper; grandchildren, Sam Pickett, III, Samantha Pickett, Justin Johnson, Ariah Richards, Samaya Pickett, Samara Pickett, Hayden Ward; special nieces, special nephews and a host of friends; special friends, Sonny Pickett, Jack Green, Keith Steele & James Rankin. He loved to hunt, fish and Alabama football.  He loved his grandchildren more than anything in this world.

Family will receive friends 12-2PM, Sunday, December 8, 2024 with the funeral service to follow at 2PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor George Green officiating.  Interment at McWilliams Cemetery.
