STACY LEDFORD Obituary

Stacy Leann Ledford, age 54, of Whitwell, TN, was welcomed in to the kingdom of Heaven on Thursday, April 16, 2020.

Stacy was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Whitwell, TN. She was a 1984 graduate of Whitwell High School. Stacy owned and operated Wee Ones Christian Daycare in Powell’s Crossroads, TN, working as a preschool teacher there prior to purchasing the business in 2006. Children were her passion and she holds a special place in the hearts of all the families she has taken care of over the years. Stacy will forever be remembered for her heart for Jesus, her caring spirit, and her one of a kind sense of humor.

Stacy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Hazel Morrison, and her sister, April Stewart.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of nearly 35 years, Steven Ledford, Sr.; children, Steven (Charity) Ledford, Jr. and Westley (Jordan) Ledford; special niece, Ava Stewart; parents, Mike and Faye Stewart; grandchildren, Norah, Sawyer, and Holland Ledford; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Graveside services will be officiated by Bro. Jim Troyer at Hudson Cemetery on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at 3:00 PM, CST.
