SYLVIA GAIL (GOLSTON) POWELL

Sylvia Gail Powell age 79 of Whitwell passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her son, Mikey Powell; parents, Tommy & Josie Golston; brother, Don Nunley; sisters-in-law Sammie Golston, Robin Golston.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 59 years, Wayne Powell; two children, Kim (Chris) Layne, Tim (Paula) Powell; daughter-in-law, Juanita Powell; brothers, Tommy Golston, Scotty Golston, Rodney (Terresi) Golston & Ronnie Nunley; four grandchildren, Ben (Mallory) Layne, Baylor (Annabelle) Layne, Dalton (Ashlyn) Powell & Mattie (C.J.) Anderson; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends 4-8PM, Friday, February 10, 2023 and 12-2PM, Saturday, February 11, 2023 with funeral services to follow at 2PM on Saturday in the funeral home chapel.   Rev. Jim Troyer and Rev. AC Roy Terry will officiate.  Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery.
