Sammy Carl Pickett

Sammy Carl Pickett age 81 of Whitwell passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine & Henry Pickett; sisters, Blondie Barnett, Margaret Parson; brothers, Snooks Pickett, Butch Pickett.
Mr. Pickett was retired from TVA as a supervisor.

Those left to cherish his memories are three children, Vickie (Dennis) Blanks of Port Orange, FL, Sammy “Boxer” Pickett of Whitwell, Eddie Pickett of FL; girlfriend, Clara Baker of Whitwell; siblings, Benny (Melissa) Pickett, Sandra Champan, Evelyn Reese; three grandchildren, Nicholas (Nola) Mosier, Richie (Nicki) Vaughn, Rachel Pickett; great grandchildren, Cole Ott, Madison Sendek, Blaine Vaughn, Lynette Perez, R.J. Perez; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends 3-8PM, Monday, January 13, 2025;  
11AM-1PM, Tuesday, January 14, 2025. The funeral service will follow at 1PM, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dan Hall officiating.
Interment at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery
