Thomas "Brother Tommy" Floyd

Thomas “Brother Tommy” Floyd age 84 of Whitwell, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 9, 2024. He was a member of Green’s Chapel Congregational Methodist Church and loved to visit numerous other churches. He was retired from Wheland Foundry after 38 years. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Floyd; parents, Amos & Edith Floyd; children, Ricky Floyd and Colleen Floyd; siblings, Jean Carr, Paul Floyd, Hugh Floyd and Johnny “Ducky” Floyd.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Renee (Gary) Miller, Vince Floyd, and Dennis (Amanda) Floyd all of Whitwell; siblings, Hedgel Floyd and Wanda (Jerry) Kilgore; grandchildren, Thomas Floyd, Rev. Kyle (Felicia) Floyd, Jacody Floyd, Tyler (Brandy) Floyd, Dakoda Mattox – Floyd, Cade (Delainey)) Floyd, Chelsey Floyd, Heaven Miller, Haylen Miller, Railey Kate Miller and Samuel Miller; great grandchildren, Finley Floyd, Indie Floyd, Bently Floyd, Barret Floyd, Wylder Muir, Kashlynn Muir and Josie Floyd; neighbor loved as a son, Keith Caldwell.

Family will receive friends 4PM-8PM, CDT, Wednesday, September 11, 2024, 9AM-8PM, CDT, Thursday, September 12, 2024, and 9AM-2PM, Friday, September 13, 2024.

Funeral Service 2PM, CDT, Friday, September 13, 2024, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Robert Johnson and Rev. Kyle Floyd officiating. Interment to follow at Griffith Creek Cemetery.
