Tina Elizabeth (Easterly) Atterton

Tina Atterton, age 65 of Whitwell, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, at NHC Sequatchie. A devoted nurse for over 40 years, Tina dedicated her life to caring for others with compassion and grace. She was a cherished member of Crossroads Baptist Church, where she faithfully served and loved the Lord with all her heart.

Tina deeply loved her children, Micah and Haley, who were the greatest joy of her life. Her children fondly remember waking up to see their mother with her Bible open and a cup of coffee in hand—a quiet morning ritual that reflected Tina’s steadfast faith. She loved reading the Word of God, drawing strength and peace from its pages each day.

Even in her final days, Tina never missed an opportunity to say “I love you” to those around her. She also never missed an opportunity to tell someone about Jesus—sharing His love was her life’s greatest purpose. That was simply who she was—kind, giving, and full of love.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen (Junior) and Sue Easterly, and her sister, Debbie Easterly.

Tina is survived by her children, Micah (Savannah) Atterton and Haley (Nick) Holt; her grandchildren, Claire Atterton, Hazel Parson, River Holt, Garrett Hawk, and Cooper Hawk; her brothers, Tim (Stephanie) Easterly and Greg (Cindy) Easterly; and several beloved nieces and nephews. She is also remembered by extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Her family will receive friends 3PM-8PM, CST, Sunday, May 18, 2025, and 10AM-12PM, CST, Monday, May 19, 2025

Funeral Service 12PM, CST, Monday, May 19, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor David Burgess officiating. Interment to follow at White Memorial Cemetery.
