Virginia Jo (Rector) Hamrick

Virginia Jo Rector Hamrick age 81 of Whitwell passed away Monday, March 6, 2023. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Joe Howard; parents, James Marvin & Lillie Rector; great grand angels, Remington & Declan Handy; siblings, Junior Rector, Mary “Cricket” Dover, Ruth Pickett, Ethel Perry, Thomas Rector, Hershel Rector & Barbara Saylors. Mrs. Hamrick was a member of the Whitwell Church of God.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Ray Hamrick of Whitwell; daughter, Missie (Eric Maynor) Rigsby of Dunlap; sons, Bobby Howard, Eddie (Candy) Hamrick both of Ringgold, Ga; grandchildren, Jesse (Kristen) Rigsby, Jacob (Olivia) Rigsby, Jordan (Zack Hickman) Rigsby, Jeremiah Whitmire, Tierney Howard, Nisa Handy, AJ Bond, Stephanie(Matt) Rogers; great grandchildren, Jayden Rigsby, Kolsen Rigsby, Kamden Rigsby, McKenzie Rigsby, Briggston Meyer, Jacob Eden Rigsby, Coy Rogers & Atle Radunzel.  several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends 4PM-8PM, CDT, Tuesday, March 7, 2023 & 10AM-2PM, CDT, Wednesday, March 8, 2023        

Funeral services will be 2PM, CDT, Wednesday, March 8, 2023 with Rev. Jim Mulkey officiating. Interment to follow at Seq Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.
