WALTER STEPHEN LEWIS

Walter Stephen Lewis age 79 of Whitwell, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Davis & Edna Hudson Lewis; brothers, Harold Lewis, William Lewis, John Lewis, Dave Lewis, Pete Lewis, Harlan “Fat” Lewis, Bobby Lewis, Charles “Bud” Lewis; sisters, Lona Lee Goforth, Mildred Wilkerson, Jennie Totten.  Mr. Lewis was a member of Caroline Chapel Church.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 57 years, Charlene Rankin Lewis; three children, Scottie Lewis of Whitwell, April (Tim) Lewis Sweo of Jackson, Sheila (Roger) Lewis Evans of Jasper; siblings, Willena Dillard of Hixson, Wanda (Leon) Rash of Jasper; four grandchildren, Connor David Sweo, Clayton Stephen Sweo, Kyle Evans, Megan Evans; great grandchild, Mackenzie Rogers; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 1:00PM, Tuesday, July 27, 2021 with Cristal Cooper officiating.  Interment at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.
