WILLIAM DENNIS DEMPSEY

William Dennis “DoodleBug” Dempsey age 53 of Whitwell, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at his home surrounded by family.  He was employed by Brown Brothers Construction, enjoyed riding in the woods on his side by side, and farming.  Mr. Dempsey was preceded in death by his father, William C. Dempsey; grandparents, John & Prudie Dempsey and Lilly & William Bozarth.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 28 years, Sharon Denise Dempsey; two children, Blake Dempsey and Karleigh Dempsey; mother, Mary Lee Dempsey all of Whitwell; brother, Randell (Donna) Dempsey; nieces and nephews, Melissa Miller, Ashley Miller Campbell, Patricia Dempsey, Clayton Dempsey; great nephew, Brodie Campbell; great niece, Jayleigh Campbell; and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends, 1-8PM, Friday, June 11, 2021.
                                              10AM-2PM, Saturday, June 12, 2021.

Funeral services will be at 2PM, Saturday, June 12, 2021, in the funeral home chapel with Michael McDougal officiating.  Interment at Brock Cemetery in Whitwell.

Family would like to express their appreciation to Keelie Ledford and Kristina Adkins and Hospice of Chattanooga for the wonderful care they showed to Dennis.
