WILLIAM HAROLD MOUNT

William Harold Mount age 84 of South Pittsburg passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021.  He was a resident of Orme, Tennessee and had just recently started attending Kimball Tabernacle of Praise.  He loved his wife, children and grandchildren with all his heart.  Born February 28, 1937 to Jessie Louise Mount, he was raised in Orme, Tennessee by his mother and Aunt Maggie.  He worked in the coal mines and helped his brother with mountain stonework before going to TVA.  He loved with his whole heart and is now in the arms of Jesus.  Harold met the love of his life when he was 22 years old.  They were married 59 years, marrying on May 12, 1962.  He made every day better just knowing he was in your life.  He was preceded in death by his father, Bradley Mount, Sr.; mother, Jessie Louise Miller Mount; sister, Addie Sue Mount; brother, Bradley “Junior” Mount, Jr. 

Harold leaves behind so many precious memories to his beloved wife of 59 wonderful years, Janice C. Mount; son, Troy “Woofie” Mount; daughter, Veronica (Brian) Vinson; son, Curtis Mount; three grandchildren, Brent Vinson, Jacob (Lindsey) Vinson, Bre Vinson Patton (Will) and nine great grandchildren which he loved dearly; several nieces and nephews.  

Family will receive friends 4-8PM, Saturday, October 9, 2021 and 4-8PM, Sunday, October 10, 2021.

Funeral services will be 2PM, Monday, October 11, 2021 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Darrell Nunley. Interment at Red Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Brent Vinson, Jacob Vinson, Carl Mount, Mike Hawkins, Chuck Rogers, Carl Mount; honorary pallbearers are Jeff Mount, William Dick & Ernie Tate
