WILLIE RUTH (SUMMERS) BALL

Willie Ruth Ball age 99 of Whitwell, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Layne’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Willie was preceded in death by her husband, James Eugene Ball; mother, Bessie Gholston Summers; father, James William Summers; siblings, Rachel Yell, Myrna Rhule, Betty Summers and George Summers, Virgie Hughes, Hazel Holland, Eileen Long, Robert Summers, Son Summers, Sam Summers; son-in-law, Jim Morrison; grandsons, Todd Weaver and Jarrod C. Ball.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Linda Morrison, Tommy Ball and Donnie (Kathy) Ball; sister, Edna Jo (John) Yeoman; grandchildren, Greg Ball, Donnie (Holly) Ball, Jr., Brandon Ball, Tommy (Susie) Weaver, Chelsey (Jeff) Brown, Kayla Weaver, Terry Weaver, Tony (Sherrie) Weaver and Christy (Mike) Lowe; great grandchildren, Karlee Ball, Bentley Ball, Callie Clay Ball, Charlie Brown, Tiffany Weaver, Thomas Weaver, Michael (Hailey)Henry, Blake Ball, Cash Ball, Layton Ball, Chastady (Justin) Palmer, Kelsey (Clint)Carrol, Trevor Lowe; great-great grandchildren, Oaklene Powell, Levi Palmer, Emery Palmer, Rowan Henry, Cheyanne Palmer, Hudson Spangler, Kimber Carrol, Parker Carrol and Carson Carrol.

Family will receive friends 11AM-8PM, CST, Saturday, January 4, 2025.

Funeral Service 2PM, CST, Sunday, January 5, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Johnny Yeoman, Carolyn Gilliam & Jonathan Graham officiating. Interment to follow at Laynes Chapel Cemetery
