William Barney Baker

William B. Baker age 81 of Suck Creek Mountain Community, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025. He was preceded in death by his father, Amos W. Baker; mother, Jennie Ruth Baker; siblings, Tommy Baker, Robin Gutherie and Nathan Baker; grandson, William “Bull” Baker; son-in-law, Terry Birdwell.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Sybil E. Baker; children, William A. Baker, Steve (Becky) Baker, Charles (Kim) Whidby, Kim Birdwell, Pam (Darrell) Parker and Sonja Reed; siblings, Jannie (Joel) Mauldin, Jeanelle Abernathy, Alice (Frank) Ray, David (Sue) Baker and Joyce Overby; grandchildren, Erin Parker, Cody Baker, Courtney Baker, Hanna Dinkins, Ashley Redd, Megan Redd, Roger Redd, Anthony Baker, Ashton Baker, Keylee (Adam) Gouger, Bree Baker, Chad Whidby, Andrea (Cody) Lawson, Victoria (Chandler) Durham and Avaya Birdwell great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Dallas, Landon, Jaxx, Karson, Kylan, Kallie, Kaden, Ronan, Ryliegh, Karson, Landon, Brylee, Blaine, Kash and Cayn.

Family will receive friends 11AM-3PM, CST, Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

Funeral Service 3PM, CST, Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor David Baker officiating. Interment to follow at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
