Willie Mae (Floyd) Nunley

Willie Mae Floyd Nunley age 89 of Whitwell, went home to be with her Heavenly Father Friday, February 16, 2024. She was a member of The Palmer Church of God. Granny Willie was preceded in death by her husband, Claude “Wesley” Nunley; children, Patty Sue Merciers, Brenda Faye Burroughs and Dennis “Dink” Nunley; siblings, Louise (Joe) Morrison, Charles (Mattie) Floyd and Ruth (Daniel) Hicks.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Reva Jo (James) Shrum of Whitwell; brother, John P (Janie) Floyd, Jr.; grandchildren, Terra “Bugsy” Roberts, Jalbo (Holly) Merciers, Stephanie (Tim) Easterly, Angie (Colin) Stiefel, Tamara (Don) Rosenbaum, Tonia Christian, Brandy (Joshua) Kilgore, Alicia (Leslie) Condra, Cody Nunley; great grandchildren, Storm Roberts, Thundur Roberts, Joseph Merciers, Jordan Ledford, Ethan Easterly, Leah Easterly, Brandon Easterly, Destiny Nelson, Samantha Nelson, Devin Nelson, Caleb Stiefel, Abby Stiefel, Willow Rosenbaum, Hunter Christian, Caleb Kilgore, Lain Condra and Harlyn Nunley; special friend, Tammy Merciers; daughter-in-law, Susey Nunley: son-in-law, Robert Burroughs.

Family will receive friends 11AM-8PM, CDT, Sunday, February 18, 2024 and 11AM-8PM, CDT, Monday, February 19, 2024

Funeral Service 2PM, Tuesday, February 20, 2024, in the funeral home chapel with Brother Bill Smith and Brother Andrew Dixon officiating. Interment at Griffith Creek Cemetery.
